Amanda Wickson

Amanda has been practicing since 2000. She moved from Pennsylvania in 2000 to the little town of Burleson. She absolutely loves the small town feel and after building a house in the county, has no plans to move away.
She moved to Texas in 2000 after graduating from the Physician Assistant Master’s program at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. She practiced in Family Medicine in Burleson originally before coming to Keller Family Medical Center. After finding a family of patients at Keller Family Medical Center, she found her home.
Burleson has grown so much in the last 22 years and is in desperate need of good, quality family medical care. So after developing such a great system, Keller Family Medical Center has decided to expand to Burleson. Amanda will be opening the new clinic-Burleson Health and Wellness. She has a passion guiding patients to wellness and developing lasting relationships with her patients.

She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the 3rd PA class at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2000. She is Board Certified through the NCCPA. She is a Fellow Member of the AAPA. She has also completed a certificate in Obesity Management.

She married a Texan and has two very active and growing boys. She is active at her local church and sits on the school board at Holy Cross Christian Academy in Burleson.
